From Isaiah. . .

Last night I opened my Bible to Isaiah and this is what I read. . .

Behold, I will create new heavens and a new earth. . .
the former things will not be remembered,
nor will they come to mind.
But be glad and rejoice forever in what
I will create. . .
for I will create. . .delight. . .joy. . .
the sound of weeping and of crying
will be heard. . . no more.
Never again in it will there be an infant
who lives but a few days. . .
(from Isaiah 65:17-20)

  5. I do not know you or your family but I want you to know your loss has touched me deeply and your faith has been such a huge blessing. I, too, have absolute certainty in God but the conviction in your words while you go through such a fire lifts me and I pray that can give you comfort. God and Gabe smile on you today and until you meet again. Stay strong, momma, you are an amazing example.

  8. I came across your blog over fb. I want you to know that the tears were fast and many as I read your post. You are so special, and so was your little man. He is just darling. Thank you for telling your story, so others can see that there is a reason to keep faith, even in the hardest of hard times.

  10. And I am holding on to what He says in vs 24 "Before they call I will answer...." We never got to ask God to spare Gabe's life. So I'm holding on to the things that I CAN call to Him now for, like peace.
    Love you, Daniel

  11. I came across your blog on thebump.com. I do not know you, or your family, but as I sit here holding my very first child who is 4 months old and my tears are flowing. Your words of faith are so strong. You are helping to carry the rest of us, telling your story so that the rest of us can see and understand the faith and power of God.
I hope you find support and comfort from your family, friends and God...for now Gabe and God are carrying you!

  12. Bless you! I am weeping as I write. As the mother of ten precious lives I can't even begin to imagine your pain. I know that God is even bigger than your loss and will pray his peace on your family. You can't change what has happened, but you can choose how you respond. Bless you for choosing the promises of the LORD and rejecting the bitterness of Satan. Fight the good fight. Your family will be in our prayers.
