This was one of my projects this week. . . find more great stuff like this at http://www.uppercaseliving.com/ . . . Daniel's project was a little more involved:
Rebekah, the mirrors are from WalMart for $20 each! I had been watching some at Pottery Barn for a long time and finally realized that I just couldn't justify paying almost two hundred dollars for mirrors! These are identical to the PB ones, only I'm quite sure the mirror quality is lower. But the hooks are very strong and we used them to hang all of our winter stuff all winter long! Yay, Wally World! I'm glad you all like that kitchen color-- lots of trial and error and samples picking that. First it was too lime-y, then too sage-y. . . I really wanted a happy, energetic, and still warm green. I finally tried this one from Dutch Boy- "Dining Alfresco"- it looked so deep on the card, but as soon as I put it up, I knew I'd found my green. :) My decorating style is tons of vacillating and trial and error and very few dollars!
Amazing! I LOVE your wall! You've inspired me to try something like that!
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, can I just say you have the BEST taste in decorating!!! That green paint looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteAnd the UCL letters look AWESOME!
And YES - your hubby DOES rock if he can do that! That house looks a million times better all because of a roof! I can't even believe it!
Where did you get your mirrors? I don't know if I will ever come visit you... or if I do, I will certainly be confessing my envy on my way out!! ;-)
