I've never heard this one before. Thanks for sharing!
I am a big Jars of Clay fan and heard this song for the first time a few months ago-what a beautiful picture of what our relationships could be, what they should be, what we can strive to be for one another. I read this scripture today and I thought of you (might have had something to do with the fact that I had just read your blog :) The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me,because the LORD has anointed me...to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion—to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness,a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor. Isaiah 60:1-3Beauty from ashes. How can beauty come from ashes? I think it happens when in the midst of your mourning you find moments of joy, and in the midst of your despair you continue to praise. I'm so encouraged when I read your blog and see you finding beauty in the midst of your ashes.
